I love these kinds of stories!
Army veteran starts a cleaning company in St. Louis where he hires dozens of vets to work with him.
After serving his country in Iraq, U.S. Army veteran Timothy Smith had a hard time finding employment. He ended up starting his own company, Patriot Commercial Cleaning in St. Louis and now he has the chance to help other vets get jobs too.
Smith got out of the military in 2007 and says it was hard for him to find work for about six months. But thanks to him, other vets have been given an opportunity.
"Since 2011, we have hired more than 40 veteran employees and about 12 family members of veterans,” Smith says. "It just means a lot to be working with these guys and gals that I served with.”
