I learned a few things since signing off Thursday morning…
It’s easier to get in the hospital than get out !!
I had emergency surgery Thursday afternoon for a hernia.
When the Dr. stopped by the next morning to ck. his work out he said that he didn’t use sutures or staples to close the incision. They use glue. And he kept emphasizing I should avoid coughing, sneezing, laughing and any other joyful strain to keep from rupturing the incision. Huh?…..I asked why he didn’t use Gorilla Glue & back it up with Scotch tape? He didn’t get it. Well, let the healing begin. I’m getting the best care at home from the one who has my heart. Meanwhile, I’m sleeping in & looking forward to getting back in the saddle. See you on Seaview.
