#ad You've heard my stories of my fixer upper of a home (sarcastically called "Matthews Manor") over the years, and we've come a long way. Now I'm ready to tackle one of our more annoying issues - bedroom storage. The master bedroom isn't really big enough for dressers and such, and there's one wall that's too close to the patio slider to do anything with. We currently have a TV there and a lot of...stuff. It's become a dumping ground for clothes we can't fit in the closet, shoeboxes and miscellaneous stuff. Kind of like a junk drawer, but much bigger and uglier.
Enter California Closets! We had a consultation with one of their expert designers (shoutout to Marilyn!) who took careful measurements, recommended storage solutions and showed us a wide variety of colors and materials to match our existing decor. They were very thoughtful and showed a lot of concern about us being happy with the finished project. Even after the consultation, the communication was excellent. Naturally we had some follow up questions - like how to route cables to the TV. But Marilyn has stayed in touch constantly and explained thoroughly how we can make it all work. She had a creative answer for every concern!
Then she did some computer wizardry and came up with a 3D rendering of what that cluttered, useless wall could look like. It was very impressive!
Now we're on the calendar for the California Closets pros to install beautiful cabinetry and storage and we honestly can't wait to get started! I'll keep posting updates and photos along the way, so stay tuned!
