Governor Praises Road Project Improvements During Hurricane Season

As we near the peak of hurricane season next month, Governor Ron DeSantis is touting his "Moving Florida Forward" infrastructure project. He says the state has invested seven-billion-dollars to advance twenty major projects. Demolition begins today on the old part of the Howard Frankland Bridge built in 1960. Once the project is complete next year there will be eight lanes, four general use and four express to help with congestion especially during an ordered evacuation.
