"Cocaine Sharks" Getting High On Dumped Drugs In Florida Waters

Scientists say they believe sharks are eating bundles of cocaine dumped in the ocean by U.S.-bound drug smugglers. Massive amounts of drugs are reported to wash up on Florida shores, annually, and that is prompting researchers to propose a study to see just how much cocaine and other drugs are actually being injested into the stomachs of sea creatures, like sharks.

That idea has propelled a new Discovery Channel series, aptly titled, "Cocaine Sharks" during its Shark Week which kicks off this Sunday,

Now, this is not to be confused with a horror film by the same title.
