There are few people who live with absolutely no regrets in life. And there’s no doubt some people have much bigger regrets than others. Well, now some folks are sharing.

A thread on the anonymous Whisper app has people sharing the mistakes they wish they could undo, and some of them are serious doozies. They include:

  • "I declawed my cat for the sake of a significant other. I still don’t forgive myself for that one.”
  • “I truly wish I was a bigger help when my mom was sick. I was 16 and selfish, but I will regret it for the rest of my life. It would have given me more time with her.”
  • “I wish I would have never moved out of my parents house at 19. I was way too young and it only caused me to end up in some serious debt.”
  • “I gave up my dream job to move to Texas with my dumbass ex. If only turning back time was possible. Now I am starting over and feel so lost.”
  • “I wish I broke it off with my boyfriend at the first thought of doubts. Now we’re engaged and I feel like it’s too late to run now.”
  • "I wish I could go back and redo how I’ve spent my money in the past decade. I’m paying now for my careless mistakes.”
  • “I wish I could go back in time and never touch drugs. I couldn’t have become an addict if I never touched it to begin with.”
  • “I got married at 19 because I didn’t think I deserved or could obtain better. I know my worth now, but now am 24 and dealing with a divorce. If only I could go back in time…”
  • “I’d go back and tell the guy crushing on me that I was crushing on him too, then I’d see where we could have gone.”
  • “I wish I could go back in time and get the name of the dude I had a one-night stand with. Then my daughter would know who her dad really is.”
