Lightning Return From Break With Win Over Kraken

In the first game back from the Four Nations Tournament break, the Tampa Bay Lightning (32-20-4) defeated the Seattle Kraken (25-30-4) 4-1 on Sunday evening at Amalie Arena. It was the fifth straight win for Tampa Bay.

Brandon Hagel had a goal and an assist, including getting the scoring started in the second period with a shorthanded goal. Nikita Kucherov and Luke Glendening both scored in the second, before Nick Paul hit a empty netter late to clinch the 4-1 win. Andrei Vasilevskiy had 36 saves in net, allowing only one goal in the third, to get the win.

The Lightning are next in action when they host the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday night. Puck drop Tuesday is scheduled for 7:30 PM at Amalie Arena.
