A firefighter from Broward County is back from what he calls a terrible situation. Plantation Fire Department Lieutenant Aston Bright arrived home yesterday after spending two weeks in Israel. He volunteered to help first responders over there as Israel continues to fight a war with Hamas. Bright says he was just a few miles from Gaza, and he was responding to fires that were started by rockets. While he's glad to be home, he says it was sad to leave because there's still so much work to do with over 200 hostages still missing. Overall, Bright tells 7News it wasn't easy, but it was a great experience.
