Widow of Slain Haitian President Jovenel Moise Files Suit

Attorneys for the widow of Haitian President Jovenel Moise have filed a lawsuit in Florida against those accused of his assasination. More than forty people have been arrested in connection. The lawsuit comes nearly two years after the July 7, 2021 assassination of Moïse, shot a dozen times at his private home in the attack that also seriously injured Moise's widow, Martine. The suit seeks unspecified damages and a trial by jury for all involved.
