(Fort Lauderdale, FL) -- I-595 reopened around 5:00 in the evening just in time for Memorial Day air travelers to arrive at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

An oil tanker rolled over on I-595 east of I-95 around 9:00 this morning completely shutting down the roadway for the entire day.

No injuries were reported, but 9-thousand gallons of fuel had to be off-loaded from the tanker, so the roadway was shut down for hours, according to FHP.

Finally, the tanker was uprighted and the roadway opened.
