Judge Hands Down Sentence For South Florida Rapper's Killers

It's life in prison for the three men convicted of the 2018 robbery and murder of South Florida rapper XXXTentacion. Judge Michael Usan having the harshest words for accused triggerman Michael Boatwright.

"And on that day when you stood there and fired that weapon, you didn't just end one life, you effectively ended five lives including your own, " said Usan reiterating no chance of parole while quoting the famous Eagles song, Hotel California.

"As the song says, you can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave," he said.

While Boatwright's two life sentences will be served consecutively, Trayvon Newsome and Dedrick Williams' life sentences will be served concurrently.

The three men have 30 days to appeal.

Co-defendant, Robert Allen, is set to be sentenced next week for his second-degree murder plea.
