A Palm Beach County neighborhood was evacuated Monday as the result of a gas leak.
Delray Beach Fire Rescue says a worker accidentally cut a gas line in an area near Northeast 6th Avenue.
Crews rushed out and clamped the ruptured line within about a half hour. Florida Public Utilities was also on the scene.
Eventually, residents were able to return to their homes.
