More Monoclonal Antibody Treatment Centers Opening

More sites opening across the state for people to receive monoclonal antibody treatments.

The state health department is set to open a site at Broward's Markham Park as well, Miami-Dade College North's campus with three more locations opening at the West Boynton Recreation Center in Palm Beach County, as well as sites in Jacksonville and Altamonte Springs..

The locations will be open seven days a week from 9a to 5p for people to receive monoclonal antibody treatments to fight COVID infections.

It comes after Governor DeSantis called on the federal government earlier this month to release more monoclonal treatments.

The Governor had previously worked out deals with pharmaceutical companies to receive the treatments directly, but DeSantis says the feds have cornered the market and limited supplies to each state.
