Hospitalizations due to COVID-19 are down across the Sunshine State. Is it because of vaccinations? Dr. Vincent Hsu with Advent Health says 'not yet.'
"It is clear that it is not because (of) the vaccination numbers," Dr. Hsu said. "We are hoping that at some point our vaccination numbers will get to the point where we can start seeing the protection that will prevent hospitalizations."
Meanwhile, Dr. Hsu says Advent Health has run out of doses.
"Unfortunately we don't have any vaccines left. We are waiting to hear from the state when that is going to occur but right now we don't have any specific dates as to when we are going to receive our next shipment."
It all comes down to supply and demand and right now Dr. Hsu says demand is far exceeding supply.
