Republican Senator Marco Rubio of Florida is worried election night could become a nightmare scenario for the country. Rubio wrote yesterday on Medium.com that he expects a large amount of votes to come in by mail for November's election, and that could lead to confusion, uncertainty and perhaps chaos on election night. He writes that counting all the mail-in ballots could take weeks, and adversaries like China will likely use that uncertainty to cast doubt on the legitimacy of the election. Rubio asks Americans not to feed into that. He also says the government should signal to our adversaries that meddling with our elections will be met with a harsh response.
