The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is reminding residents that it is illegal to discharge a firearm in public or on a residential property. That goes for all Floridians.

A Tweet from PBSO is headlined by a statement in all caps "Don't Shoot Guns In Public."

The message also reads "We're looking at you Royal Palm Beach."

A Sheriff's Office spokeswoman tells us there were a couple of incidents involving guns being fired, but no suspects were located.

The Tweet notes that anyone who knowingly and willfully discharges a firearm in public will be arrested.
